Hi! I’m Kris Merola and I am an illustrator based in New Jersey

I graduated from Pratt Institute in 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Design (Illustration) and since then, I have been focused on creating illustrations with graphic, striking shapes and a painterly touch that comes from my love of gouache. The subject of my artwork tends to lean towards the world of science (fact and fiction.) I believe our world is beautiful and complex, and I expand on that natural beauty.

As an arts educator for disabled individuals, one of my missions is to make building art skills and learning about art history more accessible for people of all abilities.
