Kris Merola is an illustrator based in Brooklyn, New York with a BFA in Communications Design (Illustration) from Pratt Institute.

Merola specializes in narrative illustration, but also has extensive experience with marketing, photo manipulation, arts education, and more. Merola’s chosen mediums have been leaning away from digital in recent years to reconnect with the beauty of paper. Merola’s work has a focus on fun textures, shapes, and colors that reflect the dynamic world around us, but they also have an interest in themes such as isolation and strained connections that reflect on their experiences as a Queer individual.
